I’m from a metric country so getting used to the imperial units took some time. Weights and volumes are still pretty much a mystery to me but I think I can say I’m bilingual when it comes to miles and kilometres. Sometimes I prefer one, sometimes the other. It’s less miles than kilometres and the kilometres are going faster than miles even if the distance is the same. You know it’s just 26 miles compared to 42 km in a marathon 🙂
I am lost with miles and gallons! All km and liters here! Hahaha

I grew up with imperial but being in medical research where everything was in metrics it made no sense the way we measured things. 12s, 36s, 16s no reason

ha. It’s much more exciting when you don’t really understand miles vs km. When I was in Europe last May, going a certain speed in kmh and trying to guess how fast we were going in mph was too fun. 🙂

I think I prefer KM and KG, too… especially kilograms… they make me feel like a ballerina, haha.
